| Position Summary: | The Facilities Coordinator maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and grounds. Specifically coordinates the contracted vendors and ensures they complete the scope of work. Keeps the building in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. | Essential Job Functions: | - Coordinate with all vendors for all facility locations and ensure we are getting the best services and prices
- Maintain knowledge of all local and state building requirements
- Coordinate with appropriate services for our annual inspections and ensure those inspections are available for KDADS and CARF visits
- Ensure that all company owned vehicles are maintained and serviced
- Ensure all lawn services are maintained including; flower beds plants flowers trims hedges and shrubs as needed
- Clean internal areas of buildings including vacuuming buffing dusting sweeping windows mopping restrooms removing trash and restocking of supplies as needed
- Maintain stock in the storerooms
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks or walkways and is proactive with treatment of outside surfaces
- Paint interior and exterior walls and trim repair or replace building brick stone and concrete maintain and repair wood parts of buildings
- Assist other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies
- Notify management concerning the need for major repairs and coordinate the services
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment in order to prevent damage to surfaces and themselves
- Lead the Employee Safety Committee to ensure we are compliant with all ADA and OSHA requirements
- Other duties as assigned
