Our Home & Gift department offers a unique selection of cookware kitchen essentials gifts cards and tabletop that caters to passionate home cooks and gift seekers alike.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated team player with life experience and knowledge of cooking and baking join our Home & Gift team. A passion for entertaining would be helpful in this position. This role involves following and maintaining merchandising guidelines and delivering top-notch customer service. Cooking knowledge is valuable to success in this role but we are willing to train the right person.

Hours for this position are typically flexible but do include weekend availability and a commitment of 24-28 hours per week.

What Youll Do:

Stock arrange and replenish merchandise to ensure a visually appealing and organized sales floor
Receive and inspect incoming shipments verifying accuracy and quality
Create attractive product displays to enhance customer engagement
Provide expert advice on cookware kitchen tools and specialty gifts
Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and cooking preferences
Maintain a clean and orderly department ensuring a welcoming shopping environment
Process transactions efficiently and handle inquiries with professionalism
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions and cross-merchandising opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A willingness to practice theDLM Team Values:Be Honest Safe Helpful and Hard-Working
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Previous customer service experience required.
Cooking knowledge preferred.
Must have holiday and weekend availability.
Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for long periods of time.
Lifting up to 45lbs.
