Job Summary
A pharmaceutical equipment manufacturer and supplier in a beautiful Buffalo suburb is seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineerfor an amazing permanent-hire opportunity. The hired incumbent MUST have 8 years of experience in automation and controls be authorized to work in the U.S. and MUST possess an accredited Bachelors Degree or higher to be considered.
PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop SCADA PC and PLC software applications for automation/controls
- Configure networks in an industrial setting (includes reporting and data acquisition)
- Produce control system design documents per guidelines (FDA GAMP etc.)
- Consult with suppliers on acquiring best controls and automation equipment needed for projects
- Support all internal and external stakeholders and on-field technicians with controls and automation related needs
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar modality from an accredited institution
- 8 years or more experience in Controls and Automation
- 8 years or more experience programming PLCs and HMIs
- 5 years of experience with MS applications including SQL server
- 8 years of experience in machine design knowledge
NICE TO HAVE:
- Proven experience executing multiple highly complex projects simultaneously
- Some proven experience with programming languages (C# Visual Basic etc.)
- Experience in applications such as Wonderware XL Reporter or similar
- Experience with Server OS user settings
