Job Description
Bottega 52 SRL is an innovativesoftware house committed to delivering high quality web and mobile applications to its customers.
We are looking for a Junior Backend JavaEngineerwith demonstrable expertise in backendtechnologies. The ideal candidate is a graduate (Master of Science or equivalent degree) in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or affine degrees) fluent in both Italian and English with excellent communication skills autonomous and responsible in her/hiswork. She/hehas a portfolio of previously completed works done in first person; of each such work she/he is capable to discuss the technical tradeoffs that wereoperated duringtheir development.
As partofher/his everyday job she/he will be responsbilefor thedevelopment of rich and complex web applications specifically on the backendside. She/he will regularlypropose innovativeapproachesthat challenge our status-quo with thegoal of improvingthe quality and the efficiency of Bottega52s development teams;being a team player is thsu amandatory quality. She/he should also be able to envision theunder-the-hood quirks and complicacies of complex backendapplications. As we periodically organize internal training sessions with leading IT companies and professionals she/he should also be able to clearly focus on aprofessionaldevelopment path and allow Bottega52 tohelp in the development of such path.
Skills required on the backendside:
- Experience withJava
- Experience with Spring
- Experience withDocker
- Knowledge of git versioning system; git-flow is a plus
- Knowledge ofsoftware designpatterns
- Exposuretofault tolerant service oriented architecture patterns
- Exposure to eitherBDD or TDD
- Exposureto asynchronous models of communications
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience withthe Elastic stack
- Knowledge aboutKubernetes/Docker Swarm
- A taste for humor
- You identified the error in the abovepiece of text and you will report itwhen applying
