As a Correctional OB/GYN Physician you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive healthcare to women focusing on reproductive health pregnancy and childbirth to the patients in residence. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.
The Obstetrics-Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician specializes in the health of women specifically focusing on pregnancy childbirth and the female reproductive system. They diagnose and treat conditions related to the reproductive organs provide prenatal care manage labor and delivery and may perform surgeries. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Must possess an active BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds) bend squat reach push pull walk significant distances and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
