Southeast Power Corporation is a leader in utility line construction specializing in Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure projects. With over 40 years in the industry we are rapidly expanding and looking for experienced General Foremen to oversee high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
Position Overview:
As a General Foreman youll lead field crews ensuring all projects are completed safely on time and within budget. Youll manage daily operations coordinate materials and resources enforce safety protocols and serve as the primary point of contact between the client subcontractors and our internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise field crews on high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.
- Ensure projects meet specifications budgets timelines and quality standards.
- Enforce safety standards conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain project documentation and logs ensuring accurate reporting.
- Interface with clients subcontractors and company leadership to address project needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of supervisory experience in utility construction (high-voltage transmission experience preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership communication and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Travel is required for job sites.
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable MVR.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10/30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR Training
- CDL
