Job Description
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiringDutch Language Teachers to provide face-to-face customized lessons to our clients in Hilversum Netherlands.

- Student: Individual class for anadult
- Availability: Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm to 2pm
- Preferred start date: ASAP
- Lesson Frequency: 2x hour
- Lesson Duration: 1 hour
- Class location: Office address -Liebergerweg 72-76 1221 JT Hilversum
- Current target language level: Beginner
- Language spoken at home: French Portuguese English some Danish and German
- Students language needs and goals: She would like to learn the basics of the language focusing on structure and grammar and be able to hold short conversations with local people. She prefers lessons that emphasize discussion rather than focusing solely on grammar. Her goal is to feel more comfortable engaging in small conversations such as those at the daycare.
She is unable to do homework between Tuesday and Thursday. Lesson topics should include building vocabulary listening comprehension strategies common phrases used by native speakers conversations with native speakers sharing feedback and opinions parenting in the new country holiday celebrations understanding how schools work ordering at restaurants visiting the doctor shopping tips and making friends. - Additional information: She loves food nature creativity and socializing. Speaking with people in their native language is important to her as she believes it reflects cultural values. She is returning from maternity leave.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored dynamic effective and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient effective and professional manner
Qualifications:
- To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the Dutchlanguage
- To have adegree or certification in teaching linguistics or similar field
- To have a minimum of two years of teaching Dutchlanguage experience
