Do you want to work on planetary scale incident response solutions in the cloud Are you excited to help customers respond to security incidents and automate security operations giving them unprecedented capability and agility Do you enjoy working on fast-paced complex projects focused on game changing business outcomes for customers globally As a member of the AWS Customer Incident Response Team (CIRT) in the AWS Global Service Security (GSS) you will have the opportunity to help customers respond to security incidents and pioneer technically superb security solutions to help customer operate securely in the cloud. Within this team AWS CIRT is seeking a self-motivated leader with rich experience in customer service and interested in improving the way products are brought to market and distributed on a global scale to join us as a Program Manager for China. AWS CIRT is looking for a skilled and motivated senior Program Manager to expand the security program that responds to customer security incidents at scale. You will manage the roadmap and apply strong judgement that balances immediate security campaigns with longer-term strategic planning. This role is inherently cross-functional working closely with senior leadership security engineers and dozens of service teams. A successful candidate will have a good mix of deep technical security knowledge and a demonstrated track record of successful complex and large scale program/project deliveries.
Key job responsibilities
A proven track record of implementing delivering large projects and communicating effectively at executive level
Manage a portfolio of critical security offerings and services that are internal and external facing
Excellent program and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective prioritization of tasks and seamless operation across organizational boundaries
Building and deploying training programs for all users in the Greater China Region
Brief customers on AWS CIRT and AWS Security Incident Response service
Continuously prioritize risk for service teams security teams and executive leadership
Collaborate with business/service teams to understand and confirm security assessment scope and controls design

- 8 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5 years of Program or Project Management experience managing enterprise-level projects and continuous improvement programs in the Security domain.
- Program or Project Management Professional Certification
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Experience in owning cross-team security implementation programs inclusive of metrics communications and prioritization.
- Experience driving operational security and secure software development lifecycle programs.
- Experience working in a security operations environment.
- Have at least one active project or agile management certification.
- AWS experience and/or relevant certifications.
