Job Description
Join us at the Norman Embassy Suites a 283-suite full-service hotel featuring 60000 sq. ft. of event space and just a short 30-minute drive from downtown Oklahoma City. Were seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to lead our engineering team. If youre a hands-on problem solver with a passion for leadership innovation and hospitality wed love to meet you.
What You Will Do:
- Lead train and mentor an engineering team that keeps safety service and standards at the core.
- Diagnose and repair electrical mechanical and plumbing systemsbasically be the hotels MVP when things go sideways.
- Strategically plan and execute the capital and engineering budgetsyes youll get your hands dirty and crunch the numbers.
- Manage inventory and scheduling to ensure productivity.
- Champion our loss prevention and safety programsbecause protecting people and property is priority one.
- Partner with leadership to support renovations and preventive maintenance projects that elevate guest experience.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5 years in engineering: Youve seen it allleaks locks and line voltageand know how to fix it fast.
- Proven leadership skills: You can coach a team with confidence and hold folks accountable with heart.
- Budget & P&L experience: You know the numbers behind R&M and laborand why they matter.
- Knowledge of safety codes.
- Tech-savvy mindset: From CMMS to Workday you dont shy away from screens and systems.
- Flexible availability: Nights weekends or holidaysyoure ready when duty calls.
