Role Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate seasonal baker who loves to bake with purpose and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Being a baker at Dog Tag is an empowering experience an opportunity to grow in your career. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in from-scratch baking.

Baker Responsibilities & Duties

• Successfully scale and mix different types of cookie doughs and macaroons.

• Be able to mass produce and bake cookies for the holiday baskets.

• Maintain a positive respectful and clean work environment.

• Follow direction and recipes correctly.

• Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards.

• Maintain production and stock levels for stations.

• Communicate low ingredients to chef if you notice the stock is low.

Qualifications

• 1 years of industry baking experience of culinary school equivalent.
• Assists with daily production and bulk production of cookies
• Good attention to detail.
• Works well under pressure.
• Quickly recognize and resolve problems.
• Must operate machinery in a clean and safe manner and report unsafe conditions.
• Must be able to multitask effectively.
• Must have flexibility in schedule.
• Abide by all Health and Safety standards.
• Highly responsible punctual and reliable.

• Must have reliable transportation to work everyday

Work Hours Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.

• Tentative start date of November 3rd

• Production shifts end December 19th

• Must be available to work weekends and start at 7am. Start times may vary due to orders.

• Starting wage: $18-$20 per hour (based on experience) plus tips.
