Role Description
We are looking for a talented and passionate seasonal baker who loves to bake with purpose and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Being a baker at Dog Tag is an empowering experience an opportunity to grow in your career. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in from-scratch baking.
Baker Responsibilities & Duties
Successfully scale and mix different types of cookie doughs and macaroons.
Be able to mass produce and bake cookies for the holiday baskets.
Maintain a positive respectful and clean work environment.
Follow direction and recipes correctly.
Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards.
Maintain production and stock levels for stations.
Communicate low ingredients to chef if you notice the stock is low.
Qualifications
- 1 years of industry baking experience of culinary school equivalent.
- Assists with daily production and bulk production of cookies
- Good attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure.
- Quickly recognize and resolve problems.
- Must operate machinery in a clean and safe manner and report unsafe conditions.
- Must be able to multitask effectively.
- Must have flexibility in schedule.
- Abide by all Health and Safety standards.
- Highly responsible punctual and reliable.
- Highly responsible punctual and reliable.
- Must have reliable transportation to work everyday
Work Hours Compensation & Benefits
Full-time work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
Tentative start date of November 3rd
Production shifts end December 19th
Must be available to work weekends and start at 7am. Start times may vary due to orders.
Starting wage: $18-$20 per hour (based on experience) plus tips.
