You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWere looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager (EM) to join Definely during a pivotal stage of growth. Youll oversee engineers building add-ins web applications and early-stage products outside the scope of our Draft/Proof PDF Vault and AI lines.
Youll also partner with Product and Design to prioritise across technical debt cross-team implementations and roadmap delivery. Youll serve as the direct report to the CTO helping streamline communication and ensuring teams stay aligned while creating an environment where engineers can grow and innovate.
Team Leadership & Growth
Hire manage and mentor engineers for the OfficeJS Platform
Build a strong engineering culture that values collaboration innovation and quality.
Product Delivery & Innovation
Drive execution for OfficeJS web and new product initiatives.
Work closely with Product Managers and Design team members to iterate rapidly and validate ideas.
Balance experimentation with delivery of robust production-ready SaaS solutions.
Engineering Practices
Champion frontend and full-stack best practices.
Ensure high code quality test coverage and secure-by-default development.
Align architecture across web and add-in products for consistency and scalability.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience leading teams in SaaS.
Strong technical grounding in JavaScript/TypeScript React and API design.
Skilled at managing multiple teams and workstreams simultaneously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Office Add-Ins and the M365 ecosystem.
Experience with C# and ecosystem.
Background in 01 product development.
Exposure to AI-assisted product experiences.
