Job Purpose
To manage key client accounts generate new business opportunities and support the Sales Manager in achieving revenue targets. The Senior Sales Officer plays a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service coordinating quotations and contributing to the overall sales strategy in the logistics and transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Client Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and match them with HLH Transports service offerings.
- Promote services across customs clearance freight forwarding warehousing and road transport.
- Conduct client visits virtual meetings and outbound sales calls regularly.
2. Quotation & Negotiation
- Prepare quotations calculate costs including tax/VAT and confirm pricing terms.
- Support the Sales Manager in pricing strategies and discount approvals.
- Ensure quotations reflect market conditions and company profitability.
- Follow up on issued quotations to close deals and gather feedback.
3. Sales Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate closely with the Documentation Operation and Customer Service teams for smooth client handover.
- Update quotation records and CRM system with sales pipeline activities.
- Ensure contract compliance client onboarding and proper document handling.
- Monitor delivery schedules and support after-sales service.
4. Market Monitoring & Reporting
- Track competitor activity pricing trends and customer insights.
- Provide weekly reports on leads opportunities and deal closures.
- Assist in planning promotional campaigns and networking events.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes based on client feedback.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Logistics Marketing or relevant fields
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B or logistics-related sales
- Working knowledge of customs clearance or supply chain operations is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills
- Negotiation proposal writing and customer service mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication in Khmer and English (Chinese is a plus)
- Familiarity with CRM tools Microsoft Office and logistics systems
