POSITION SPECIFICS
The College of Liberal Arts department of History at The Pennsylvania State University University Park PA USA invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
This position will include resident and online instruction and normal university service. Your teaching load during the academic year is four courses. Onsite teaching is an essential function of this job.
A Ph.D. in History or related field is required by the appointment date for all Ranks.
Candidates for Assistant Professor of History must have demonstrated ability as a researcher scholar and teacher in a relevant field and have evidence of growth in scholarly achievement. Duties will involve a combination of teaching research and service based on the candidates qualifications.
