A private household is seeking an Interior Design Project Coordinator to support its design team with the execution and management of multiple luxury residential projects. This is not a design role but rather a coordination and operations-focused position working with designers architects and vendors to ensure that approved selections are purchased tracked delivered installed and documented accurately. The ideal candidate is highly organized detail-oriented and process-driven.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in design architecture or a related field (required)
- At least 3 years of experience in design project coordination FF&E purchasing or related work (recent graduates with internships will also be considered)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills; proficient in spreadsheets and project tracking tools
- Knowledge of high-end furnishings finishes and design industry logistics
Excellent communication skills and vendor management experience
Proficiency with Excel Word and project management software
- Ability to travel occasionally for installations walkthroughs or vendor meetings
- Discreet professional and reliable in handling confidential environments
Minimum two-year commitment to the role
- This is NOT a design job; you wont be doing any actual design but rather supporting the design teams.
