Williams is hiring an Electrical Engineer III to join our team in Houston TX or Tulsa OK. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design implementation and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for critical facilities
- Integrate advanced technologies such as automation real-time monitoring and energy storage to improve efficiency and reliability
- Ensure safety by implementing arc flash mitigation fault detection systems and compliance with NEC NEMA API and IEEE standards
- Deliver technical expertise in power distribution electrical schematics and layouts for new builds and facility upgrades
- Manage complex engineering projects from concept through completion while staying on budget and on schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering solutions with business goals
- Mentor junior engineers encouraging technical growth and knowledge sharing
What Were Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4 years of electrical engineering experience in natural gas data centers or related industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC NEMA API IEEE etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills
- Ability to review arc flash studies and implement improvements
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a safety-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Project management experience
- Experience with PLCs HMIs and instrumentation systems
- Background in Pre-FEED FEED or EPC phases of small to medium facility projects
