Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Stores Clerk to join our team at Newark Liberty International Airport. The Stores Clerk is responsible for receiving storing and issuing aircraft parts tooling and supplies while maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
This role is key to supporting line maintenance operations by ensuring parts and materials are properly controlled tracked and available when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inspect and verify incoming aircraft parts materials and supplies.
Issue tools equipment and parts to technicians as requested ensuring proper documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations (Ref: 145.109).
Ensure proper labeling storage and preservation of all parts including segregation by customer and/or aircraft.
Monitor shelf-life items and ensure timely rotation or removal.
Assist with shipping and handling of parts as required.
Keep work areas organized clean and compliant with safety standards.
Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and inventory records.
Adhere to and enforce company policies including maintaining a Drug- & Alcohol-Free workplace.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in aviation stores warehouse or inventory control preferred.
Basic knowledge of FAA parts handling and documentation requirements (Part 145) a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to insert lbs e.g. 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays as required.
