Deputy Nursery Manager Level 3 Early Years Up to 36000 Full-Time
We are currently looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a supportive and inspiring nursery team. This role is ideal for a Level 3 qualified early years professional with previous experience as a deputy manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and supporting staff development.
Working 40 hours per week the successful candidate will help lead the nursery contribute to day-to-day operations and ensure children enjoy a safe stimulating and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while making a real difference in childrens early learning experiences.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within early years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and support a diverse team of early years practitioners.
- Commitment to safeguarding inclusion and high-quality childcare standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager in running the nursery effectively and maintaining high standards of care.
- Lead and mentor staff promoting continuous professional development and team engagement.
- Plan implement and evaluate stimulating activities in line with EYFS and early years best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding health and safety and Ofsted regulations.
- Maintain accurate records including staff files care plans and reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents carers and the wider team to foster a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to nursery policies operational planning and the delivery of high-quality early years education.
