Deputy Nursery Manager Level 3 Early Years Up to 36000 Full-Time

We are currently looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a supportive and inspiring nursery team. This role is ideal for a Level 3 qualified early years professional with previous experience as a deputy manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and supporting staff development.

Working 40 hours per week the successful candidate will help lead the nursery contribute to day-to-day operations and ensure children enjoy a safe stimulating and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while making a real difference in childrens early learning experiences.

What Were Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within early years.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and support a diverse team of early years practitioners.
Commitment to safeguarding inclusion and high-quality childcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Nursery Manager in running the nursery effectively and maintaining high standards of care.
Lead and mentor staff promoting continuous professional development and team engagement.
Plan implement and evaluate stimulating activities in line with EYFS and early years best practices.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding health and safety and Ofsted regulations.
Maintain accurate records including staff files care plans and reports.
Communicate effectively with parents carers and the wider team to foster a collaborative environment.
Contribute to nursery policies operational planning and the delivery of high-quality early years education.
