Job Description
We are currently seeking HIGH ENERGYcaring patient enthusiastic reliable individuals who love kids physical activity and soccerto provide children ages 3-5 withcreative simple play activitiesthrough Soccer Shots classes in a way that enables children to exercise and have fun with the worlds most popular game soccer!
Instructors compensation starts at $20 per session. Each session is 30 to 40 minutes long. Soccer Shots provides your training equipment and all curriculum materials. At some centers there will be multiple sessions meaning you could run 2 or even 3 sessions in a row.
This is a part-time position with potential for growth. Instructor must be available Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm (hours can be somewhat flexible depending on your schedule).
The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:ResponsibleArrives on time to each session can handle a group of 10 or more children keeps accurate attendance communicates well with Soccer Shots director etc.
Experience with ChildrenPrevious experience working with young children (3-5 years old). This is more important that having played soccer.
ProfessionalNeat in appearance friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director self-assured.
EnthusiasticMust enjoy interacting with young kids be able to connect with kids ages 3-5 make the Soccer Shots session the highlight of every childs week etc.
SoccerOfficial soccer experience is not required. However having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful.
Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentSoccer Shots classes require instructors to be physically fit and support an active lifestyle. The work environment during a typical class can be indoor or outdoor (weather permitting) and the noise level is usually moderate to loud.
In addition to the above a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance andBackground Check.
