Leaders at CGI Federal have full P&L responsibility for a variety of managed U.S. Government IT business processes within an agency. CGI is seeking an individual with demonstrated performance leading an account of more than $ 35M revenue per year capturing deals with total contract value greater than $200m and managing program resources for profitable organic growth. Specifically this role will be responsible for leading strategy and developing future opportunities in software engineering software development applications management cyber enterprise IT logistics and mission support services including research and development activities with targeted customers within US Air Force.
This position is located in Fairfax Va.
The successful leader must know how to manage and mentor a team of individual contributor business development executives. This business leader will also drive strategic planning management and direction of bid and proposal (B&P) resources target identification capture strategies proposal management contract award and customer relations. This senior executive collaborates with counterparts across the Federal Sector to ensure best of breed solutions are brought forward to customers and ensures CGI is appropriately positioned within the US Air Force client base.
A minimum of 15 years of business development and strategy experience within organizations known for building high performing business development functions.
Demonstrated history of winning large competitive services contracts (within the Air Force client space is a plus).

Education
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree. A Masters or other advanced degrees/relevant certifications are preferred.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicants must be able to obtain up to a TS/SCI clearance depending upon future portfolio needs.
Solid relationships with key government contracting personnel in the companys core business lines.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators.
Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management.
Ability to constructively influence and interact at the highest levels of the company and in target customer agencies.
Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development leadership throughout the company.

Prior US Air Force service.
Knowledge of the US Air Force mission landscape culture operational norms and buying behaviors.
Demonstrated history of winning large US Air Force contracts.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $190100.00 and up.
