JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking Supply Chain Manager responsible for overseeing and optimizing STOBER Drives Inc supply chain operations as well as ensuring alignment with STOBER global supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement logistics inventory and vendor relationships to ensure efficiency cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Building and leading the Supply Chain Team consisting of: Purchasing Receiving / Warehouse
- Lead mentor and develop the supply chain team.
- Delegation empowerment holding self and others accountable for the compliance to company policies government regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
- Safety incidents equal 0
- Quality level less than0.50 PPH
- Customer on time delivery greater than 95%
- Inventory Turns greater than3
- Optimization of inventory and reordering processes
- Facilitate Make/Buy decisions following the framework of the Global Supply Chain procedures
- Supplier management optimizing quality delivery cost andservice with:
- STOBER Drives Inc internal manufacturing department
- STOBER Germany andSTOBER Hungary
- External domestic andinternational suppliers
- Ensuring alignment with STOBER Drives Inc. Terms and Conditions andNon-Disclosure Agreement policies as they relate to supplier sourcing andmanagement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BS degree plus 5 years commercial/technical experience in engineering supply chain or related field and/or proven experience in supply chain management or related roles (5 plus years).
SKILLS / CHARACTERISTICS:
- Proficiency in SAP Microsoft Office
- Technically inclined willingness to work hands on when needed
- Ability to interpret drawings schematics sketches
- Problem solving analytical skills
- Ability to deliver and accept constructive criticism
- Ability to lead people
- Negotiation skills
- Comfortably communicate with all organizational level

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:
