Senior Electrical Engineer Power Distribution Description
Our client a utilities company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join an innovative team within the power and energy sector in Jackson County this role you will take on responsibilities comparable to a lead project manager for capital and system improvement initiatives. You will leverage your technical expertise to guide project planning and development. To be chosen for this role you must have a strong power distribution background. Whether your experience comes from public or private utilities or an engineering firm this would be a great fit for someone looking to make a sizable impact on their community. Senior Electrical Engineer Power Distribution Responsibilities
Act as a project leader in the design and engineering of complex projects
Provide functional supervision of technical staff and mentor junior engineers
Monitor progress of assigned projects to ensure timely completion
Perform extensive research and field investigations
Evaluate and recommend project alternatives and review system protection
Develop project drawings evaluate projects costs and customer requirements
Participate in the evaluation of engineering activities
Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and regulations
Serve as a subject matter expert and offer recommendations
Senior Electrical Engineer Power Distribution Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering required
Power distribution design experience required
Must have passed the FE exam to be considered for this role
