Quickly moving into other industries we are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Maintenance Electromechanical Technician willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!

Electromechanical Technicians use their knowledge of mechanical technology electrical circuits and electronics to install maintain and repair automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems in industrial settings. They may also test operate or maintain robotic equipment.

What you will do

  • Inspect and ensure equipment meets design specifications
  • Read blueprints: Determine how equipment should function
  • Install and repair parts: Install and repair parts
  • Troubleshoot systems: Troubleshoot hydraulic electrical and robotic systems
  • Test equipment: Use oscilloscopes electronic voltmeters or bridges to test equipment
  • Document test results: Document test result
  • Maintain facilitys electrical components monitoring and control systems including electronic pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Monitor devices that control processes within the facility adjusting either manually or using instruments as necessary. Periodic maintenance is done to ensure the instrumentation remains in good working condition
  • Conduct troubleshooting to repair the machines as issues arise
  • Install new instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Additional duties assigned by the supervisor

What you will need to succeed

  • Ability to test calibrate and repair electrical mechanical hydraulic devices and equipment.
  • Proficient at Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot PLCs AC and DC Drives
  • Skilled in Installing electrical gear equipment and devices
  • Knowledge in terminating power control and instrumentation wire and cable
  • Experienced with bending and installing rigid conduit
  • Ability to set up and pull wire and cable
  • Read blueprints schematics and manuals to understand installation procedures
  • 3 years or more industrial experience with DCSs PLCs automation systems etc.

Physical demands

The physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
  • Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
  • Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching reaching walking and stooping pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold hot noisy and wet and may have fumes or odors

The base pay range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
