Job Summary

*Remote Contract Opportunity*

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Application Tester to join our banking clients digital team. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity can be remote in the United States (EST working hours).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing iOS and Android applications preferably within the banking investment or trading domain. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality performance and reliability of our clients mobile platforms that serve millions of users.

What Youll Be Doing:

Perform manual and automated testing on native iOS and Android mobile applications
Validate mobile banking trading and investment functionalities to ensure regulatory and functional accuracy
Create execute and maintain detailed test cases test plans and test scripts
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including developers business analysts and product owners
Log track and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives)
Perform functional regression UI/UX and exploratory testing
Ensure seamless integration of new features and bug fixes with existing mobile app flows
Provide input for improving testing processes and strategies

What Youll Need to Have:

3 years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android)
Experience testing in banking investments or trading platforms
Strong understanding of mobile architectures APIs and integrations
Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and Agile testing practices
Proficiency with JIRA Confluence and test management tools
Experience with tools like Xcode Android Studio Charles Proxy Postman etc.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of App Store and Play Store release processes
Experience with automated testing tools like Appium Espresso XCUITest or similar
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile test automation frameworks
Understanding of compliance and security standards in financial applications
ISTQB or similar certification

Pay Range:$50-$60/hr
