Job Description
Do you want to help us develop tomorrows hygiene and health products and be part of a material development team We are now looking for a Laboratory Engineer to join our Nonwoven Laboratory.
About the Role
As a Laboratory Engineer you will have a broad and active role in our global exciting innovation activities where you will represent our laboratory in many different your role you will also be faced with various tasks both practical and theoretical. You will be responsible for product and material testing be part of projects as well as supporting the organization.
The position is in our office in Gothenburg and will report to Material Development Manager in Nonwoven.
This is a temporary position for 11 months.
What You Will Do
Participate in innovation projects and work in cross-functional teams.
Plan test analyse and statistically evaluate different development materials and products are key tasks within the projects.
Develop evaluate and validate new laboratory methods to meet consumer and customer needs.
Who You Are
Technical university degree (minimum of BSc preferably in Chemistry Mechanical Textile or similar)
1-2 years experience from laboratory work
Experience of statistical analysis and analytical programs is an advantage
Good communication skills and comfortable in writing reports and presenting results
Fluent in English both verbally and written. Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement.
To be successful in this role you need to have an interest in material development and testing also enjoy working in a high pace project environment. Furthermore we see that you have a creative mindset value accuracy and that you are result oriented. To work and collaborate effectively during changes is a great advantage. You are someone who rather sees possibilities and are customer and consumer driven. We see that your share our believes and behaviors where you are committed collaborative caring and courageous basically someone with a can-do attitude and eager to learn more. Self-leadership is something we greatly value as the role will demand a high level of self-drive and motivation.
