Join our Team as a Data Science Engineer
Location: Gurgaon
Hours: UK Shift
About the role:
As a Data Science Engineer youll play a key role in designing implementing and optimising our internal and external data environments. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights supporting strategic decision-making across the business. If youre ready to take ownership of data architecture pipeline development and analytics frameworks in a fast-paced innovation-led environment this is the role for you.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5 years experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role
- Proficient in Python SQL and modern data stack tools
- Experience with dbt Apache Airflow and Google BigQuery
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modelling
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure GCP) and version control (Git)
- Skilled in building automated testing and monitoring frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends
Key responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimise ETL pipelines and data workflows
- Build scalable data models warehousing solutions and analytics frameworks
- Write clean documented code aligned with team standards
- Collaborate in sprint planning and refinement sessions
- Implement data validation rules and quality checks
- Create and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and schemas
- Develop automated testing and monitoring for data processes
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Build reusable code libraries and tools for team efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
