The Organisation
Tasc (Legal and Social Justice Services) provides free legal social work and advocacy services across the Greater South-West Queensland region. With offices in Toowoomba Ipswich Goondiwindi Roma Hervey Bay and Gympie we work to positively impact the communities we serve via an accessible inclusive and values-based framework. The Position
Based in Toowoomba the Workplace and Systems Coordinator ensure the effective delivery of TASCs operational functions across multiple sites including facilities fleet ICT procurement and workplace health and safety (WHS).
As TASCs WHS representative you will ensure that all statutory requirements are met incidents are reported and closed out and corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. You will:
- Coordinate operational support across facilities ICT fleet and WHS
- Act as the primary WHS contact and support a culture of safety and wellbeing
- Oversee registers contracts and compliance processes across sites
- Liaise with landlords contractors and ICT providers to ensure service quality
- Monitor and improve operational processes focusing on compliance and efficiency
- Support the WHS Committee and maintain emergency management procedures
This role is central to maintaining TASCs day-to-day operational continuity and will require occasional travel to regional sites. It is classified at SCHADS Level 5.
The Person
You are a proactive and organised professional with strong problem-solving skills. You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in operational coordination WHS or facilities/ICT management
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities across multiple sites
Highly Regarded
- Qualifications in WHS business administration or related fields
- Experience leading operational projects or managing compliance processes
- Previous experience in a community services or not-for-profit organisation
