Job Description
Headways mission is a big one to build a new mental health care system everyone can access. Weve built technology that helps people find great therapists with the first software-enabled national network of providers accepting insurance.
1 in 4 people in the US have a treatable mental health condition but the majority of providers dont accept insurance making therapy too expensive for most people. Headway is building a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access by making it easy for therapists to accept insurance and scale their practice.
Headway was founded in 2019. Since then weve grown into a diverse national network of over 60000 mental healthcare providers across all 50 states who run their practice on our software and have served over 1 million patients. About the team:
As the product manager for our Provider Caseload team you will drive the strategy and execution for how we enable our providers to grow their practice and find new patients. You will build products that allow therapists to acquire new prospects convert them into an active patient and transfer existing patients onto Headway. This work is essential for powering Headways transformation into a practice partner for our providers giving them the tools they need to continue growing their practice.
What youll do at Headway:
- Own and execute on the strategy that enables providers to more seamlessly grow their practice.
- Develop user facing tools and experiences that simplify the way a therapist is able to intake a new patient reducing friction while increasing access to care.
- Partner closely with engineering data and customer success to ship and implement new features in the provider experience.
- Deeply understand and embody the voice of the provider in the products that you build.
Youll be great for this role if you:
- Have experience scaling products with data: You are able to operate in a highly cross functional environment to align stakeholders and drive results.
- High degree of ownership: You have been able to deliver large organization wide impact across areas such as strategic bets or top company priorities.
- Technical Depth: Youre comfortable diving deep with engineering teams on data problems and can drive decisions that result in intuitive products for the end users.
- Cross-functional leadership: Youve led initiatives requiring coordination across multiple teams and can balance technical feasibility with user needs and business requirements
- Customer-focused approach: You understand how to translate complex technical problems into great user experiences and have built patient or provider-facing feature
The expected base pay range for this position is $215000 - $254000 based on a variety of factors including qualifications experience and geographic addition to base salary this role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant depending on the position and level.
