Job Summary
Central Coast Home Health & Hospiceis a fast-growing locally owned andoperatedorganization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking a full-time or part timeMedical Social Worker or Social Worker Assistantto workwithboth Home Health and Adult Hospice patients in theNorthern San Luis Obispo area (Atascadero Templeton Paso Robles).
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying autonomy and flexibility supported by clinical supervision from an experience LCSW. Clinical supervision is available for candidate working toward licensure.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Sociology Psychology Human Development OR
- Masters Degree from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
- Understand thehospice philosophy and issues of death and dying
- Reliable vehicle to drive for work
- Current Drivers license
- Clean background & driving record
- Maintain auto insurance coverage
- CPR certified
