We are recruiting for a Software Developer who will be responsible for developing software devined large scale automation enablement across an array of technical domains.

The Software Developer will assist with the following:

• Leverage and develop automation testing and analysis tools that exercise the functional requirements of customer provided software in a broad range of tailored operating environments.
• Complete projects individually with time sensitive deadlines.
• Communicate with customer developers operators and other supported elements.

#DMVCAMPAIGN

• Python development OR another experience with another object oriented programming language
• Linux Operating Systems OR significant experience in administration and automation with another Operating System
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Mathematics or equivalent experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Must be willing to undergo Polygraph examination #qinetiqclearedjob

• Automated Scripting of System Administration tasks (Bash scripting for example)
• Software Development
• Software Automation
• Systems Administration
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Linux Windows Mac)
• Familiarity with embedded/IOT mobile devices (development/testing) networking

The salary range for this role is $91350- $116900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
