Job Summary
Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology in Muskegon MI
Join a dedicated team at a Free-Standing Cancer Center in Muskegon Michigan! We are currently seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide coverage for our facility due to physician turnover. Youll be working in a supportive environment with a focus on adult hospital-based patient populations. The center boasts state-of-the-art documentation systems Aria and Epic and offers an enriching practice experience between scheduled coverage dates in December.
Job Responsibilities:
- Order tests and images as necessary
- Prescribe appropriate treatments and care plans
- Perform required radiation therapy procedures including 3D Radiotherapy and IMRT
- Collaborate with another Radiation Oncologist and a Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting
- Manage patient caseload with 10-15 outpatient visits per day
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology - REQUIRED
- Must possess a valid Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ - REQUIRED
- BLS Certification - REQUIRED
- Availability to cover specified dates - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Current Michigan State License or IMLC/LOQ
- BLS Certification
