Administrative role to assist with the Tax department with administrative tasks. Daily tasks require associates to work in a system that no one will have experience working with and will require training. The associates will be required to email customers and gather data or direct them to the platform to enter data on their own. The platform goes live early October and would like to have all candidates identified and onboarded by early October if not sooner to get training before hand. There will be one onsite interview This is very similar to the role last year this same time.
Must haves:
- 1-3 years Microsoft Office products (Teams Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
- 1-3 years Administrative experience
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve Data from information systems such as invoices tax exemption certificates business licenses support of government audits
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Respond to requests from customers and vendors for copies of tax documents such as W-9 forms business licenses sales tax exemption certificates etc. and assist in maintaining the repository of such commonly requested forms.
- Perform general administrative duties and support for the tax department.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Abide by all policies rules and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules regulations and procedures.
- Support corporate programs goals and initiatives of the company.
- Manually uploading certificates and data validation
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support.
- Gather compile and verify information and enter it accurately into documents (such as reports presentations or forms) and office systems (such as SharePoint sites databases billing software or spreadsheets).
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Experience supporting multiple functions in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
- Poise and maturity to interact with individuals outside and inside the organization.
- Prioritize and manage deadlines when dealing with multiple tasks combined with the ability to work with a sense of urgency when needed.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Teams Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) and ability to explore and quickly learn other software applications required.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Very strong organization and verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills that are professional enthusiastic and cooperative.
