Job Summary

Position: Process Technician
Location: Garland TX

Type: Full-time On-site

Summary:

Manufacturing support position with responsibilities focused on optimizing and maintaining production processes and product scrap reduction.

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform first-piece start up process verification activities.
Make sure the correct Process Monitoring Sheet is at the press when a mold change material change or insert change is completed.
Remove the old process control sheet and file when there is a mold change or insert change.
Perform process verification checks and log results as defined by the product PMS.
Respond to calls from operators regarding product/process questions and/or concerns.
Completed assigned area of First Piece Approval document(s).
Identify needed machine and tool repairs and initiate appropriate work order(s).

Additional Responsibilities:

Verify end-of-arm tooling for robots as needed and initiate robot program or proper cam settings.
Set up decorating equipment per Master Process Control Sheet as needed.
Perform BOM verifications as needed.
Change the Process Monitoring Sheet when full or after mold change material change or insert change.
Participate as needed in internal problem-solving/improvement activities.
Other Duties as assigned by supervision.

Other requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree; or 3 months related experience and/or training.
All employees are responsible for complying with the safety policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Perform basic math functions - addition subtraction multiplication division percentages and proportions.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules operating instructions and system docs.
Ability to actively participate in problem-solving activities.
Able to support overtime during the week or weekends.
