Job role: Program Director
Duration: 3 month Contract to Hire
Location: Baltimore MD onsite
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Program Director to lead and grow a state-funded Cybersecurity Education Program at a public university. This role combines program coordination student engagement technical asset management and strategic development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program administration light technical expertise and a passion for expanding educational opportunities in cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Administration & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity education program.
- Manage enrollment processes and student inquiries.
- Maintain and present program data and performance metrics to state agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state funding requirements and reporting standards.
Recruitment & Outreach
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new students and community members.
- Represent the program at recruitment events conferences and community engagements.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the program.
Student Support & Asset Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student questions and support.
- Manage computer assets and software tools provided to students.
- Coordinate onboarding and training sessions for new students.
Program Growth & Development
- Organize guest speaker events workshops and networking opportunities.
- Identify and implement opportunities for program improvement and expansion.
- Collaborate with faculty industry partners and university leadership to enhance curriculum relevance and impact.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Some experience in program coordination management or administration.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to present data and program outcomes to external stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat Cisco Webex Meetings and other computer programs.
- Background in instructional design or training (non-teaching role).
