Tool Room Attendant
Pay: $18 $20 per hour DOE
Schedule: 1st Shift; Monday Friday 5:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. and Saturday 5:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Tool Room Attendant to manage the receipt storage distribution and requisition of tools equipment and consumables. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory and supporting shop operations. The Tool Room Attendant will also work closely with internal customers and vendors to ensure smooth daily functions and a safe efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the companys commitment to safety and core values.
Assist tool room staff with check-in/check-out of tools distribution of consumables and logging of transactions.
Maintain inventory records for small tools and consumables.
Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
Complete requisition forms and prepare reports on shortages overages or damaged tools.
Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Utilize the ERP system and communicate with vendors in writing or verbally.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a fabrication shop environment.
General knowledge of basic hand tools (drills grinders etc.).
Inventory and clerical skills.
Basic computer skills in Word Excel and databases.
Ability to work effectively with internal customers team members and supervision on the shop floor.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance when needed).
Frequent bending kneeling crouching and stooping.
Ability to climb ladders and use hand tools (hammers knives wrenches etc.).
Good color vision and depth perception.
Work may involve pushing pulling or carrying tools and materials up to 50 lbs.
Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours daily).
Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures.
Required to wear PPE (safety glasses safety-toed boots hard hat gloves).
Must pass DISA drug testing and maintain active status in company-designated drug consortium.
