Provides technical assistance monitors & evaluates through standards & compliance with Medicaid State Plan & assists in assessing & planning coordination of service delivery. Implements certification & registration program policies; researches & coordinates with other offices & agencies to gather data (e.g. number of applications processed fees collected); creates feedback criteria & forms & disseminates same to County Boards of Developmental Disabilities (DD) receives completed forms incorporates data in report form & uses data to refine certification & registration processing policy.
Provides technical assistance & training to service providers (e.g. instructs individuals & groups on policies procedures & certification & registration processes). Conducts in-service training seminars.
Maintains & updates files of approved courses & seminars from colleges universities & other providers as they relate to certification & registration; corresponds with same for information pertinent to registration & certification criteria; approves continuing professional development required for renewal of registration & certification.
Performs clerical functions of position (e.g. files documents stuffs envelopes & mass mails correspondence). Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of classification.

Completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science health or pre-medicine or comparable field AND 18 mos. delivery of human services health care services or medical assistance in governmental community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
-OR completion of graduate core program in social or behavioral science or medicine-related or comparable field AND 6 mos. delivery of human services health care services or medical assistance in governmental community or private human support services agency or medical provider.
-OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
