Rate:$18.50/Hour

Available shifts for Security Officers will include 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift weekends and holidays. Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. TheMobile Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel visitors and the area.

The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid drivers license and clean driving history to be a great fit for this role!

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and De-escalation.

• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the clients premises.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.

• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.

• Valid Drivers License and a clean driving recordrequired. (All our positions will include driver certification).

• Have reliable transportation (private transportation is required) (Public transportation is generally not available at our various site locations).

• Have reliable working communication device (cell phone).

• Have a High School Diploma or GEDorbe willing to complete the GED program within six months.

• Average to above average computer skills.

• Have the legal right to work in the United States.

• Ability to speak read and write English.

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
