Hilton Boston Park Plaza is looking for an Assistant Reservations Manager to join the Reservations Team. This is one of Bostons most historic hotels with a premier Back Bay location with Boston Common and the Public Garden just steps away from the hotel.

The ideal candidate for this role has min. 2 years of Front Office/Reservations supervisory experience excellent communication skills is a team player and has and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Bostons most iconic hotel and grow within the hospitality industry.

Shift Pattern: Typical schedule will be Monday - Friday 9AM - 6PM with flexibility to work some weekends when needed.

What will I be doing

  • Oversees the efficient operation of the reservations department and the group reservation process to accommodate guest needs and maximize revenue.

  • Interviews trains supervises counsels schedules and evaluates staff.

  • Processes group reservation information including rooming lists suites resumes and billing requirements.

  • Communicates and verifies information between Meeting Planners Housing Bureaus Meetings and Conventions and Front Office.

  • Processes reservation request calls as appropriate assists internal and external customers.

  • Coordinates and implements department activities and projects. Provides clerical support and assistance to management
