MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for managing marketing and communication projects as assigned by the EDDM to include:
o Designing and producing marketing materials for campus departments including print (banners flyers invitations greeting cards signage) digital content (social media videos photography ads) and templates.
o Drafting press releases e-newsletters and other written documents for campus departments
o Updating the campus website with news events and promotional content.
o Managing and implementing marketing strategies to engage students and faculty through regional social media platforms.
Ensures brand consistency across all marketing communication and promotional efforts.
EVENT SUPPORT & ADMINISTRATION
Supports event logistics for special events and public functions for the campus as directed by EDDM including creating registration pages promotional communications agendas talking points surveys and managing supplies inventories.
Assist with commencement and other special ceremonies.
Designs event materials such as programs signage and presentations.
GENERAL
Supports the overall mission and strategic goals of the college.
Performs other duties to advance campus marketing efforts. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) other applicable regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Bachelors Degree in Communication Marketing or a Design Field or Associates degree and equivalent experience in marketing communications event planning or related fields. Excellent written and verbal communications. Proficiency in design tools to include Microsoft Office applications Canva and equivalents. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. High ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience with Salesforce.
Experience writing for public audiences
Skills in photography videography and video editing.
Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools.
The hourly pay for this position is $15.75.
This is an on-campus position located at the Hamilton County campus.
