Location: Field-Based with regular meetings in Chester Function: Enterprise Sales

Were seeking a Director of Sales to lead our NextGear Capital sales function across the UK. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on building relationships motivating teams and driving strategic growth. If you bring energy vision and a university degree were open to your backgroundwhether its in finance tech retail logistics or beyond.

What Youll Be Driving

  • Lead & Inspire: Empower and energise a team of Heads of Sales Account Managers and Support Executives to exceed ambitious targets.
  • Strategic Growth: Shape and execute dynamic sales strategies that attract new customers and deepen existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work cross-functionally with Credit Risk Finance Marketing and Legal to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Customer-Centric Leadership: Build lasting relationships with dealers vendors and partnersalways putting customer success first.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor performance mitigate risk and ensure proactive engagement across customer portfolios.
  • Industry Representation: Be the face of NextGear at key events translating strategy into action with clarity and charisma.

What Youll Bring

  • Proven leadership in sales within a fast-paced results-driven environment
  • A natural ability to motivate coach and inspire teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in finance portfolio management or customer success
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel and thrive in high-energy environments

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in the automotive sector (but its not essential!)
  • A passion for innovation and customer-focused solutions
  • A university degree (any discipline)
