Job Summary
Exclusive to TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitment agency we are supporting a well regarded firm of chartered accountants in Chatham who are looking to appoint an Accounts Director.
This is a varied general practice position where you will take ownership of a well established portfolio of accounts and tax clients including sole traders partnerships and limited companies across a broad mix of sectors.
You will work closely with the director and management team playing an active part in the continued development and future growth of the firm.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders LLPs and limited companies
- Deliver a full range of business advisory and accountancy services
- Support the strategic planning and delivery of the firms business services
- Drive the growth of the portfolio through client development and new opportunities
- Oversee and support key projects and internal initiatives
- Lead mentor and develop the team to ensure high standards of service

Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Strong background in general practice with solid experience across financial reporting management accounts and tax
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
- Confident leader with strong people skills and the ability to motivate and support a team

Required Skills:
You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
