Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a NeonatalHospitalist to join our growing team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville FL. This is a unique opportunity to cover the newborn nursery in a practice in a high-acuity autonomous environment with a supportive team and a hospital committed to expanding its Womens & Childrens services.

Practice Highlights:

• Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling allowing for a sustainable and rewarding lifestyle.
• Comprehensive Coverage:
  • 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)
  • 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 14)
  • 3500 annual deliveries
  • Accepts all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)
  • 8 hour daytime shifts
  • Daily rounding in newborn nursery supervision of family practice residents circumcisions no deliveries.
• Advanced Services: Body cooling oscillators and RN/RT-staffed regional transport team.
• Collaborative Team: Work with a cohesive group of experienced Neonatologists NNPs and supportive OB hospitalists MFM and subspecialty telehealth providers.
• Academic Engagement: Teaching opportunities with University of Central Florida family medicine residents.
