The Flight Avionics Department develops guidance section electronics architectures for development programs supports subsystem analyses integration and test provides program leadership as well as GPS/IMU support. We partner with several Electrical Engineering Departments that provide the detail designs of our electrical products. We are seeking entry-level candidates willing to collaborate innovate and team with our engineers to generate and utilize todays cutting-edge technology to develop electrical subsystems.
What You Will Do
- Job responsibilities of this role vary but include activities such as troubleshooting electronics in a lab or production environment performing system and circuit level analysis subsystem integration and test supporting failure investigations maintaining and creating documentation and interacting with multi-discipline groups including suppliers.
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels.
- Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
- Performing analog and digital circuit analysis and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronics subsystems in simulation.
- Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates.
- Conducting integration & test at the subassembly level.
- Develop interconnect models between various subsystems.
- Generate test procedures/plans and document test results.
- Generate and present task results to small technical teams.
- Ability to work in either a team or individually.
- Potential travel to test areas for support/troubleshooting issues less than 10%.
- Able to lift 15 lbs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations and FRACAS processes.
- Knowledge and experience with Material Review Board Process Configuration Board Configuration Control Board and Failure Review Board processes proposing/defending and implementing Change Notices.
- Experience with test equipment test automation scripting test conduction sensor control.
- Experience with writing and/or executing test procedures.
- Integration and test of electrical hardware/subsystems.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
