MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is expanding our exceptional team of therapy professionals! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our growing multi-disciplinary team and help us Reveal the Super in Every Child!

Your Impact

As a Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy you will:

  • Provide leadership and support the Pediatric Therapy Manager and center-based SLP staff to ensure the highest quality of care for pediatric clients.
  • Provide expert evaluation and diagnosis of speech language and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster client progress.
  • Empower families and caregivers with effective home program techniques.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records to support therapy progress and compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians educators and other professionals for comprehensive care.
  • Guide and mentor SLP team members to enhance clinical excellence.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and measurable outcomes in pediatric speech therapy.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved program in Communication Disorders culminating in the receipt of a Masters or Doctoral Degree.
  • Possesses a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Has completed the equivalent educational requirements and work experience necessary for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC); or
  • Has completed the academic program and is acquiring supervised work experience to qualify for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and therefore is functioning in the role as a Clinical Fellow.
  • Possesses a valid state license in Speech/Language Pathology as required by the State(s) in which services are rendered. Or has a Limited License as they are a Clinical Fellow actively acquiring the required supervised hours and all documentation is being co-signed by a CCC-SLP.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Active & Engaged Work Kneeling bending and playing at ground level.
  • Hands-On Support Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Quick Reflexes Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
  • Loud or Noisy Environments Working with active children in dynamic settings.
  • Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

  • Dearborn

Status

  • Full-time

Schedule

  • Must be available 9 am - 6 pm
  • MondayFriday
  • No nights or weekends

Compensation

  • Annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Potential to earn additional compensation in productivity bonuses.
  • $2500 sign on bonus paid in two installments of $1250
