Senior Actuarial Consultant Specialty Pricing (Cyber Tech E&O Media)

Job Summary
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant Specialty Pricing (Cyber Tech E&O Media). The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert providing actuarial consulting support for the Financial Lines business unit focusing on Cyber Technology & Miscellaneous E&O Film & Entertainment and Media coverages. This role involves advising on Cyber 1st and 3rd party exposures ransomware silent cyber and implied coverage embedded in E&O products. The consultant will collaborate closely with business partners and underwriters lead the development of pricing tools and strategies utilize portfolio monitoring tools and analyze external claim and exposure trends using third-party data and industry resources.

Responsibilities

  • Provide actuarial guidance and build strong relationships with business partners and functional subject matter experts.
  • Influence business strategy by leveraging actionable insights and analytics.
  • Develop and refine pricing tools and models to support Cyber Media Liability and other Professional Liability lines such as Tech E&O.
  • Monitor profitability reserving and claim trends and present findings with recommendations to leadership and underwriting partners.
  • Produce advanced actuarial analyses and communicate findings to both analytical staff and management.
  • Drive process improvements and innovation while maintaining thorough documentation of methods.

Qualifications Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum of seven years of related actuarial experience.
  • Holds an ACAS designation and is progressing toward FCAS or already FCAS.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance company functions actuarial/statistical concepts and specialty product lines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making at all levels including senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams.

Compensation Package

  • Salary range: $130K $190K plus bonus opportunities.
