QA/QC Engineer (Floridablanca, Pampanga)

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria Virginia and Orlando Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning design infrastructure management technical consulting engineering and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army Air Force Navy Marine Corps) missions along with other federal agencies all over the world.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance in answering requests for information administer the Construction Quality Management Program and ensuring project site safety.

This is a 6-month project-based position that is based in Floridablanca Pampanga and based on market date the salary range is Php30000 to Php40000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).

• Provide supervision on assigned projects ensuring compliance with the approved design and standards
• Manage various construction projects and prepare cost estimates quality assurance and implementing safety standards
• Guide workers liaise with vendors and check the quality of materials
• Provide technical advise and suggestions for improvement
• Validate quantity condition and approval of materials on site prior to Government issuing invoice payments
• Attend/witness selected tests and review all applicable test reports and results
• Keep the Government sponsor advised as to the status of projects under his/her administrative and technical control but the responsibility to plan and carry out the assignment is accomplished independently
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications To be successful in the role:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management Engineering Technology
• Must be a Licensed Engineer or Architect
• Handled road large slab pavement concrete projects
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager Superintendent QC Manager Construction Manager or Inspector
• At least two years of experience as a Superintendent
• Familiar with EMrequirements and experienced in hazard identification and safety compliance
• Excellent English in written and verbal communication skills.
• With a valid drivers license. Must be willing to travel to different project sites
