Amazon is seeking an experienced audit and compliance manager to join Japan Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC) team. We are looking for individuals who can apply their knowledge of operations and internal controls to a diverse set of risk areas including compliance process technology legal finance and program this role you will work closely with rapidly growing Amazon logistics last mile transportation businesses to understand their nuanced risk landscapes and form the audit program in a sustainable and scalable way to control the risks under the reasonable level. You will also partner with various legal finance and compliance teams to develop/optimize the compliance monitoring program that will provide the assurance to the compliance requirement.

Develop and manage the compliance monitoring processes to enable last mile carriers compliance with the contractual and regulatory requirements
Design and execute the plan of compliance program to meet the targeted the coverage
Cross functional coordination and task tracking
Deliver the report of program status
Communications across various stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and to guarantee the overall success of the program.
Management and execution of cross-functional projects or components of key programs including data gathering analysis forward looking supply chain approaches and communication of insights & recommendations.
Oversee remediation efforts to bring the business in compliance and improve our transportation & logistics network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customers.
Drive documentation of processes risks and controls and work with owners to assign accountability.
Partner with Risk Management team to design risk-based audit programs
Propose and implement the operational excellence initiatives with audit program to improve the quality and efficiency

A day in the life

In this position you will work closely with Amazons transportation team develop risk-based audit programs for outsourced contractors for various transportation programs design and launch the audit programs and report to internal stakeholders.
You will also support the rapidly growing business team by collaborating with the risk management team and propose the scalable and sustainable risk management solutions. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders (legal financial safety PR and other compliance departments) to optimize various programs to promote compliance. This position will be based in Tokyo and may require domestic and international travel.

- 4 years of compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Business level of English and Japanese

- 3 years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
