Seeking a seasoned Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy execution and evolution of our Information Security and Developer Experience platforms. This role sits at the intersection of security engineering and developer productivity driving initiatives that ensure our systems are secure by design while empowering developers with seamless scalable tooling.

You will partner closely with engineering security compliance and platform teams to define product roadmaps prioritize features and deliver solutions that balance risk mitigation with developer agility. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong product instincts and a passion for building secure frictionless developer environments.

What Youll Bring:

  • 8 years of experience in product management with a focus on technical platforms or infrastructure

  • 5 years in roles involving security developer tooling or platform engineering

  • Experience withAgile methodologiesand tools likeJira Confluence or Aha!

  • Deep understanding ofapplication and infrastructure security principles includingzero trust architecturethreat modeling andsecure SDLC

  • Familiarity withidentity and access management (IAM)encryption standardsaudit logging andcompliance frameworks(e.g. SOC 2 ISO 27001 NIST)

  • Experience implementingdeveloper experience platforms includingCI/CD pipelinesinternal developer portals andtoolchain integrations

  • Knowledge ofDevSecOps practicesand integrating security into developer workflows

  • Understanding ofAPI securitysecrets management andruntime protection

  • Familiarity withdeveloper productivity metricsfeedback loops andDX research methodologies

  • Experience working withcloud-native environments(e.g. Kubernetes Terraform AWS/GCP/Azure)

  • Ability to drive adoption ofsecure coding practicescode scanning tools andvulnerability management

Technical Skills & Domain Expertise:

  • Deep understanding ofapplication and infrastructure security principles includingzero trust architecturethreat modeling andsecure SDLC

  • Experience withidentity and access management (IAM)role-based access control (RBAC)OAuth2/OIDC andSAML

  • Knowledge ofencryption standards(AES RSA TLS)key management systems(e.g. AWS KMS HashiCorp Vault)

  • Familiarity withaudit loggingSIEM tools(e.g. Splunk Datadog ELK) andsecurity incident response workflows

  • Experience withcompliance frameworkssuch asSOC 2ISO 27001NISTHIPAA andGDPR

  • Hands-on experience withvulnerability managementstatic/dynamic code analysis tools(e.g. Snyk Veracode SonarQube)

  • Understanding ofcontainer security(e.g. Aqua Prisma Cloud)runtime protection andnetwork segmentation

Impact Youll Make:

Technical Product Management plays a critical role at TransUnion as the conduit between our Sales Solutions and Engineering organizations. Our Solutions team define the what and why requirements and the TPM role partners with Solutions and Engineering on defining and executing the how technical requirements.

  • Product/Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for product/platform capabilities (e.g. Credit Marketing Fraud / APIs CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure developer tools).

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering DevOps and product teams to understand needs and translate them into platform features.

  • Technical Requirements: Gather and prioritize technical requirements ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability needs.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of product/platform features - from ideation to launch

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $126700.00 - $190000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individuals education training work experience job-related skill set location and industry knowledge as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnions annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
