We have a secondment opportunity that have become available to join a talented highly motivated and engaged team as Policy Accounts Consultants.

The purpose of this role is to actively support Suncorp NZ to achieve debt and credit control targets by taking responsibility for monitoring and managing outstanding debt and unallocated cash processing of monthly bordereaux and other financial transactions ensuring credit control procedures are followed correctly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of a portfolio of allocated debtors to ensure overall debtor targets are met.
  • Prompt and accurate processing of all bordereaux payments across Suncorp NZ.
  • Preparation of reconciliations and debtor reports.
  • Prompt and accurate processing and authorisation of refunds within authority limit.
  • Administration of unallocated cash error hand offs and investigations.
  • Process broker commission statements adjustments and queries within authority level accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identification and escalation of key indicators for fraud and potential collapse of intermediaries.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous accounts receivable experience with successful performance in resolving outstanding debits/credits
  • Strong customer service & Relationship building skills
  • Previous insurance industry preferred but not required
