Test and Validation Engineer – Gear and Differential Systems

As a Test & Validation Engineer you will be part of a newly formed Gear & Differential Systems team driving forward exciting and strategically important projects in the field of e-drive technologies. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of mobility from the ground up.

You will be responsible for planning executing and analyzing validation activities for differential and gearbox systems in e-drive applications. Working closely with design simulation and manufacturing teams you will ensure that our components meet functional durability and NVH (noise vibration harshness) requirements. Your work will play a critical role in supporting industrialization and ensuring customer success.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Define and execute test plans for design validation (DV) and production validation (PV)

• Develop test concepts and fixture designs for gear shaft and housing assemblies

• Coordinate prototype builds and validation samples with internal and external partners

• Program monitor and analyze endurance strength and NVH tests on test benches

• Analyze test data and create structured reports with clear conclusions and recommendations

• Support root cause analysis and issue resolution (in collaboration with design and quality)

• Contribute to the creation of validation documentation (DVP&R test specs test reports)

• Interface with suppliers customers and international teams on testing and release topics

Our requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or related field

• Ideally more than 2 years of experience in years of experience in testing or validation of mechanical components or systems

• Prior exposure to automotive environments preferred

• Familiarity with drivetrain test benches endurance and fatigue testing methods

• Hands-on experience with test setup instrumentation and data acquisition systems

• Experience in failure analysis material characterization NVH testing gear performance evaluation and durability testing is highly desirable

• Fluency in English is mandatory. German language proficiency is desirable while fluency in Chinese would be a significant asset

• Analytical mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills

• Structured and proactive working approach comfortable in dynamic environments
