The Logistics Supervisor will perform a variety of technical and business tasks in support of the logistics functions for both operations and engineering materials. Business planning framework responsible for making sure products reach their destinations safely securely and on-time and per the processes and procedures of Logistics. The Logistics Supervisor will be required to manage all aspects of logistics along with direct personnel on associated tasks. The day-to-day responsibilities listed below are necessary in order to meet programs costs and schedule requirements.
What You Will Do
Supervise/Oversee all incoming material and outgoing material to include Hazardous Classified Freight Ground and Air.
Asset management of incoming storage and outgoing materials.
Ensure team has proper training tools and workspace for performing packaging requirements.
Strong customer service skills with knowledge of program requirements.
Manage team by keeping a positive and safe work environment.
Promote RTX goals/values.
Work with other departments concerning any issues that may arise.
Material planning of upcoming shipment and logistics needs.
Supervision of all Pack Ship Tool operations and communications of such to all of RTX.
Lead a team to achieve department goals
This is a 1st shift onsite position.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
Experience leading a small team
SAP/Prism experience
Experience packing/shipping/transportation of Hazardous and classified materials.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in a logistics supply chain or related field
Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
Time management skills

Tucson AZ: salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
